Thanksgiving Make and Do

by admin on October 3, 2012

I love this time of year and the beautiful natural crafts that we can do with our kids.  Here are a few we are hoping to do in the next few days.

Corn husk dolls for the table or the mantle,  a corn wreath for the front door, waxed leaves for haning in the window. For older kids looking for something to do that takes a bit of time these seed and spice mandalas wuuld make a nice afternoon craft.

If you are out hiking you can pick up a few beautiful leaves to make maple leaf crowns

These are beautiful leaf prints and this same blog has a lovely idea for a bit of artwork -which could be a guestbook of sorts for your Thanksgiving gathering. Just have guests add their thumbprints in fall colours.

There are more ideas for Thanksgiving crafts in our post from last year.

Have a wonderful holiday!
