On Saturday you can get close to your food. It’s the
2012 Annual Fall Wellington Rural Romp happening from 11am – 4pm. Experience a day in the countryside, meet local farmers, eat, learn about food and experience agriculture’s bounty. At each location, you will find farmers and business owners who are passionate about bringing real taste and local food to you. You can find more information and a map of the participating locations
here.
On Sunday from 2 -4 p.m the
Wellington Artists’ Gallery is calling all kids to take part in its Culture Days Program. Let’s get creative…paint a rock or a treasure box to take home, help paint a mural; try out oil pastels; can you find all the sculptures?; stroll through the woods and do some sketching; draw the running man; see if you can find your way through the chalk maze. Lots of fun for everyone…and there are PRIZES. The Gallery is located at 6142 Wellington Rd 29, just east of Fergus.
