Friday Fun – Free things to do with your family

On Friday night take in the 16th. Annual Fergus Classic Car Show in downtown Fergus.  Come and see the 100+ classic cars and live entertainment happening in downtown Fergus from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. For more information please contact the Fergus BIA website or call 519-787-1384

Help the University of Guelph set a world record and help alleviate world hunger. And help Jack prove that Kids Can Too. Join with our community from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Saturday to pack 200,000 meals in one hour for distribution to drought stricken Mauritania in West Africa

Also on Saturday, kids can learn to knit with the library’s “Kids Can Knit program”. Visit the Westminster Square Branch at 2:00 pm and bring a friend (and needles if you have them) and learn how to knit. 

Saturday night downtown Guelph comes alive again with Nuit Blanche. There are some interesting programs happening in the early evening which would be fun for families. You can read the full schedule here.
