There’s some great entertainment this weekend.
On Friday night, Elora is hosting Live at 5. From 5-6pm, enjoy Charlie Chaplin films at the Gorge theatre for just 5 cents. There are artists, musicians, foodies, family craft area, workshops – all kids of ways to enjoy this beautiful downtown. You can find out more on their facebook page.
Or if you are up for a bit of excitement in downtown Guelph bring your lawn chairs and popcorn to Market Square for Movies in the Square. This week’s film is E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial which begins showing at 9 pm, is free and open to all (cancelled in the case of inclement weather.)
On Sunday the 3rd Annual Linamar Transportation Car Show takes place from 12-4pm. Everyone Welcome! Enter a vehicle or just come for the fun. Live performances by Wayne Langille, Elvis Impersonator, BBQ, 50-50 draw, kids activities, tractor-trailer demos, and truck pull. All proceeds to The United Way. The Car Show takes place at the Linamar Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence at 700 Woodlawn Rd.
Also on Sunday evening, Kitchener Musical Society Band performs at the Riverside Park Bandshell at 7 pm. Donations appreciated. Enjoy your picnic dinner while listening to the band! Or you can cool off with a Free Tim Hortons Public Swim from 5-8 pm at Lyon Pool on York Road.
