Happy Halloween!

The library kicks off the week with a Spooky Story Time Monday morning at 10:30 at the main branch. Other special programming this week includes the Teen riseUp! for the Youth Immigrant Project, for kids in grades 9 and up & up, which happens from 4:40 to 6:30 on Wednesday. The weekend at the library is a busy one. The main branch is hosting the Junior Guelph Festival of Moving Media on Saturday from 10:30 until 12:00. At 2:00 on Saturday the Kids Can Knit workshop for kids ages 8-12 returns to the Westminster branch and at 2:30 the East side branch is hosting friends from the Guelph Humane Society for kids ages 4 years & up.  Sunday at  1:30 the Tween Creative Writing Workshops kick off at the Main branch for kids ages of 10 to 12 years.
And don’t forget that Branch Storytime Registration begins on Thursday November 3.

Monday October 31 6-8pm Trunk or Treat First Baptist Church, Guelph
Trunk or Treat is a fun way to go trick-or-treating! Members of the church are filling their trunks with candy and families in the neighbourhood are invited to come trick-or-treating! We’ll also have some fun games and activities for children. Come join us between 6 and 8 pm this Halloween!

Saturday November 5 9:30am-12:15pm Kinderconcerts – The Three Musical Pigs and the Wolf
Three delightful Saturday morning mini-concerts, for children 5 and under, with members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
The Licorice Allsorts Clarinet Quartet
Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven are three music-loving pigs. Although the sneaky wolf Hugo tries very hard to catch them, he is no match for the pigs’ speed and intelligence. Join in the fun to help build the pigs’ houses, and huff and puff along with the wolf!
